Dr. QingHua Zhu was a visiting scholar with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, New Jersey Institute of Technology(NJIT), NJ, USA from 2014 to 2015, and from 2017 to 2018. Currently he is an associate professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, Guangdong University of Technology, China. He is an IEEE Senior Member and an ACM Member. His research interests include scheduling and optimization in semiconductor manufacturing and cloud computing, discrete event systems, production planning, and Petri nets. His research projects include the scheduling of multi-cluster tools in semiconductor manufacturing which are supported by the NSFC and NSF of Guangdong Province, China, and scheduling methods in cloud computing. He is a Principal Investigator of these projects. He has authored over 10 papers published in academic journals and conferences, such as the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, the IEEE Transactions on Semiconductor Manufacturing, Computers & Operation Research, and the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation. He served as a Program Committee member for several international conferences. He also served as a reviewer for some international journals and conferences. He is listed in Marquis Who's Who in the World 2016 (33rd Edition).
