Trained first in transport engineering and later in urban planning, I connect professional planning practice with research and teaching across mobility, communities, and low-carbon development.
I am a Lecturer in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Guangdong University of Technology. Between 2000 and 2018, I completed a B.Eng. in Transport Engineering, an M.Eng. in Transportation Planning and Management, and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Design at Tongji University. During my doctoral study, I studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a visiting Ph.D. student sponsored by the China Scholarship Council.
From 2007 to 2012, I worked at Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning & Design Institute Co., Ltd., contributing to master planning, detailed planning, urban design, integrated transport planning, public transport and BRT, parking, and traffic impact assessment projects. Since joining academia, I have continued to connect professional practice, quantitative research, and curriculum development.
My current teaching and research center on urban and rural planning, urban roads and transportation planning, and related digital tools.
