Abstract:Transient absorption spectroscopy is a powerful tool to study chemical dynamic processes. Several methods have been developed for transient absorption spectra data analysis, such as the singular value decomposition with exponential fitting method. Here, we use a transient absorption phasor approach to transient absorption spectra data graphical analysis which is developed from the phasor approach. This expands the research processes of the phasor approach and makes the visual analysis of different kinetic processes possible. The lifetime can be evaluated in phasor space without professional exponential fitting. The method is computationally efficient and straightforward to implement. The simulation result validates the effectiveness of the presented method to transient absorption spectra data analysis. The transient absorption phasor approach has the potential to simplify transient absorption spectra data analysis and paves the way for the analysis of large data sets.
