About me

Yongwei Huang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Science degree in information and computational science in 1998 and the Master of Science degree in operations research in 2000, both from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. In 2005, he received the Ph.D. degree in systems engineering and engineering management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He is currently a full professor with the School of Information Engineering, the Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, which he joined in 2016. Prior to the position, he held a faculty position with the Hong Kong Baptist University, and several research appointments, namely, with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the University of Naples “Federico II,” Italy. 

His research interests include optimization theory and algorithms, signal processing for artificial intellegence, array signal processing and beamforming, and signal processing for wireless communications and radar, as well as financial signal processing. He has been currently a Handling Editor for the Signal Processing (Elsevier), and an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks. He was a member of Sensor Array and Multichannel Signal Processing Technical Committee (2017-2022) of IEEE Signal Processing Society, an Associate Editor for the IEEE Signal Processing Letters (2016-2020), and a recipient of Best Poster Award in the 2007 Workshop on Optimization and Signal Processing.

黄教授的研究方向包括信号处理与人工智能、最优化算法与信号处理，金融工程等。已在顶刊IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing发表23篇论文。现任“Signal Processing”（中科院二区，JCR一区）和“IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks”（中科院三区，JCR二区）杂志编委。曾担任IEEE信号处理协会“传感器阵列与多通道信号处理”专业技术委员会（SAM-TC）委员（2017-2022）。曾任IEEE杂志“IEEE Signal Processing Letters”编委（2016-2020）。入选“珠江人才计划”青年拔尖人才。主持国家基金面上项目和广东省基金面上项目。出版唯一作者专著《鲁棒优化导论与应用》（科学出版社出版）一部。入选斯坦福大学2023年发布的“全球前2%顶尖科学家”榜单（终身科学影响力1960-2022）。
