Profile

Dr. Wang Qian is currently a lecturer at the School of Art and Design, Guangdong University of Technology. She is mainly engaged in the research of artificial intelligence painting, computer vision, and computing art. She obtained her Ph.D. in computer vision from the Macau University of Science and Technology and completed her postdoctoral research at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.


She has presided over several research projects, including the Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Scientific Research Initiation Project for Young Talents of Guangdong Province. She has published more than 10 SCI/CSSCI papers, including ACM Computing Surveys (IF=23.8, ranking top 1 in the field of computer theory) and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems (IF=9.551), which are international top-level journals. In addition, she holds 2 national invention patents. Her research achievements have been presented at international authoritative conferences such as ACM SIGGRAPH.


Dr. Wang is committed to exploring the in-depth integration of AI and art and promoting the cutting-edge development of human-computer collaborative creation.
