刘波,教授,博导,广东省杰出青年(省杰青)获得者,在《ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data》、《IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence》、《IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks》、《IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems》、《IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering》、《IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics》、《Knowledge and Information Systems》、《Soft Computing 》、《模式识别与人工智能》刊物、和一区和二区等国际会议《IJCAI》、《ICDM》、《SDM》、《CIKM》上发表论文60余篇,并获得PAKDD 2013,ICMLC 2005 优秀论文。主持广东省杰出青年基金、国家自然科学基金3项、广东省自然科学等基金、教育部博士点等基金,承担本科数据库和软件工程等课程。


往届毕业的硕士生以银行,企业,事业单位为主,主要从事数据分析与挖掘的工作。


主要研究领域:


1. 人工智能,大数据分析与挖掘、机器学习;

2. 深度学习,支持向量机,多视角学习和统计建模;

3. 数据流,图像分析,自然语言处理。


教育工作经历:

2002年获得华南理工大学应用数学本科学位。

2008年获得华南理工大学计算机应用博士学位。

2006 年至 2007 年获得国家留学基金委资助在悉尼科技大学从事联合培养博士。

2008年至2011年,华南理工大学博士后。

2011年至今在广东工业大学自动化学院。

2012年访问伊利诺伊大学芝加哥分校,从事数据挖掘和机器学习研究。
