广东工业大学教授、博士生导师，国家万人计划领军人才，国家优秀青年科学基金获得者，教育部新世纪优秀人才。担任IEEE Trans. Neural Network and Learning Systems、IEEE Trans. Fuzzy Systems、IEEE Trans. Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems、IEEE Trans. Cognitive and Developmental Systems、Journal of Systems Science and Complexity、《中国科学：信息科学》（中英文版）以及《自动化学报》（中英文版）等10余个期刊编委，以及中国自动化学会控制理论专业委员会委员、信息物理系统控制与决策专业委员会委员以及青年工作委员会副主任委员。主要从事智能控制、协同控制及其应用等方面的研究。主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、优秀青年科学基金项目等国家和省部级项目10余项；发表Automatica及IEEE汇刊论文100余篇；获省部级自然科学一等奖与二等奖3项、IEEE SMC学会Andrew P. Sage最佳汇刊论文奖2项、以及国际会议最佳论文奖、省级优秀硕士学位论文指导教师、IEEE TNNLS与IEEE/CAA JAS最佳编委等荣誉。
Hongyi Li (SM’17) received the Ph.D. degree in intelligent control from the University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth, U.K., in 2012. He was a Research Associate with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. He was a Visiting Principal Fellow with the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences, University of Wollongong, Wollongong, Australia. He is currently a professor with the Guangdong University of Technology, Guangdong, China. His research interests include intelligent control, cooperative control, sliding mode control and their applications.
He was a recipient of the 2016 and 2019 Andrew P. Sage Best Transactions Paper Awards from IEEE System, Man, Cybernetics Society, the Best Paper Award in Theory from ICCSS 2017 and the Zadeh Best Student Paper from IEEE ICCSS 2019, respectively. He has been in the editorial board of several international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences, IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica, Neural Networks, Asian Journal of Control, Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing, and International Journal of Control, Automation and Systems. He has been Guest Editors of IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics and IET Control Theory and Applications. He is a member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Computational Intelligence in Control.
