赖冠宇,中共党员、副教授、硕导、广东工业大学“青年百人计划”A层次引进人才、新加坡南洋理工大学研究助理、美国弗吉尼亚大学访问学者、中国自动化学会会员、美国电气和电子工程师协会会员。作为第一项目负责人,主持包括国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目、广东省自然科学基金面上项目在内的国家级、省部级科研项目5项;作为课题组骨干成员,参与国家自然科学基金-广东联合基金重点项目、广东省自然科学基金卓越青年团队项目等科研课题。已发表SCI论文60余篇,其中第一作者30篇(15篇发表在Automatica和IEEE Trans.国际顶级刊物、3篇ESI高被引论文);已申请中国发明专利10余项,授权6项;在亚洲控制会议、美国控制会议等国际会议上发表EI论文15篇。担任中国自动化学会控制理论专业委员会随机系统控制学组委员、国际期刊《Intelligence & Robotics》青年编委、中文核心期刊《信息与控制》青年顾问、学术期刊《广州大学学报(自然科学版)》首届青年编委、以及“第十届电气工程、控制和机器人技术国际会议”专题分会主席。
